William Bonnamy, Jr.
Author of 319 Gliderman
My father was William M. Bonnamy Sr., a member of A-Battery, 319th Glider Field Artillery. This site is my tribute to him and the other glidermen.
Details of the WWII battles of the 319th Glider Field Artillery can be found under Campaigns. The Soldier Gallery includes stories written from interviews with relatives, friends, and some videos of the veterans themselves. During my research I expanded the scope to include other combat units who fought lockstep with the 319th. Lastly, included are some interesting war time stories worth mentioning, but were hard to categorize.
Family and friends can read more about my story here.
