July 22, ‘44, I visited patients in 61st G.H. Learned that Capt. Rogers has been transferred to 160th where I have just been. Will return to see him later when I leave Bristol.
Thur. 27 July ‘44. Returned to North Leach to visit Capt. Rogers and others whom I had learned were in the 160th G.H. Rogers has broken leg; part of bone knocked out by flak which struck him while in glider before landing (6/6/44); leg in traction.
