To Whom It May Concern:

This is to certify that I have known and had Cpl/T Oran H. Fitzsimmons serve under me for a period of about four (4) months.  As Mess Officer of this organization, of which Cpl/T Fitzsimmons has been a regular cook, I found Cpl/T Fitzsimmons to be willing, cooperative and glad to give his whole hearted assistance to any undertaking to which he was assigned.  He is both an excellent cook and baker.  He has at all times performed all of his duties in a very satisfactory manner.  I feel that I can vouch for his honesty, integrity and his high sense of duty.

This is to verify that I have known and had Cpl/T Oran H. Fitzsimmons serve as a member of my command for a period of approximately six (6) months.  During this time Cpl/T Fitzsimmons has served as one of the regular cooks of this organization.  I have at all times found him willing, cooperative and glad to give his whole hearted assistance to any duties to which he was assigned.  He is both an excellent cook and baker.  I feel that I can vouch for his honesty, integrity and his whole hearted attention to whatever duties to which he may be assigned.  I believe him to be perfectly capable of taking over any mess and successfully conducting it in the capacity of Mess Sergeant.
